Once an online, written, or verbal booking has been accepted by Courtyard Natural Healing by Nichola, you have entered into a mutual agreement to receive a healing session or course of sessions. Each appointment is a sacred time reserved just for you, prepared with care and intention.

This booking and cancellation policy applies to all services offered at Courtyard Natural Healing, including Reiki, crystal-infused Reiki, sound-infused Reiki, sound bath meditation, and ThetaHealing®. All sessions are complementary wellbeing practices and are prepared with care, intention, and dedicated time reserved specifically for you.  Please see separate Terms & Conditions Policy with regard to my Personalised Manifestation Meditation bespoke service.

BOOKING DEPOSIT

A £10 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from your session cost on the day, and reflects the commitment you are making to your healing time - as well as the time, energy, and preparation held for you from the moment your booking is confirmed.

PAYMENT

The remaining balance is payable by cash, bank transfer, or card either before or at the time of your appointment. For Distance Healing, full payment is required in advance via bank transfer.

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

You’re welcome to amend or cancel your appointment up to 48 hours in advance with no issue at all. If you reschedule, your deposit carries over to your new appointment. If you cancel and don’t wish to rebook, your deposit is forfeited.

I’d be grateful for no more than one reschedule per appointment — rescheduling late affects me in the same way a late cancellation does, as I’m unable to offer that time to another client.

Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment, or failure to attend, will incur the full treatment fee, minus the deposit already paid. This reflects the time and energy held for you, and the space that could not be offered to another client at short notice.

Please note: the booking system allows self-service cancellation or rescheduling up to 7 days before your appointment. Within 7 days of your session, the system will no longer allow changes — please contact me directly if something unexpected comes up, and I’ll do my best to help.

DISCRETIONARY WAIVER OF CHARGES FOR MISSED-CHANGED APPOINTMENTS

In cases of emergency or serious illness, I may waive cancellation fees at my discretion. Please let me know if this applies to you — I understand that life can be unpredictable.

LATE ARRIVAL

If you arrive late, I will do my best to offer a meaningful session within the remaining time. However, your appointment may still need to end at the originally scheduled time, and the full fee will apply.

Upon your arrival, if less than 30 minutes remain of your appointment time, cancellation will need to be made, and 50% of the treatment fee will still be due. This is because I work with only a small number of clients each day to ensure every session is energetically rich, personalised, and deeply restorative, involving thoughtful preparation — from selecting and cleansing crystals to setting the energetic tone of the space. When a session cannot go ahead, I lose the opportunity to offer that time to someone else in need of healing, and half the income I rely on to sustain my practice. I appreciate your understanding and respect for the sacred time we hold together.

Exceptions will always be made for emergencies or serious illness — please do not hesitate to let me know if this is the case.
