The Journey of Usui / Holy Fire Reiki®

Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki is an advanced form of energy healing that represents a beautiful refinement of the traditional Usui System, founded originally in Japan by Mikao Usui in the 1920s. Introduced in 2014 by William Lee Rand through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), it did not seek to replace the Usui tradition, but to build upon its sacred foundation.

Think of it as the Usui lineage "stepping forward" to meet the unique stresses and spiritual needs of our modern world. It remains Usui Reiki at its heart, but it is powered by a refined energy that originates from the highest spiritual levels - beyond the 12th Heaven. Because of this, it functions as a Direct Higher Intelligence that connects with you personally, rather than being filtered through a practitioner.

HOW IT FEELS DIFFERENT from traditional reiki?

During the session, you may feel deep heat or tingling coming from my hands. While the Holy Fire® energy is a direct gift from Source, I act as the dedicated facilitator. My role is to hold a sacred, high-vibrational space and use my hands to focus that direct higher intelligence exactly where you need it. I am not the source of the healing, but I am the witness that helps that light reach you.

THE LINEAGE: IS THIS “NORMAL” REIKI?

I am often asked if Holy Fire® Reiki is different from the “normal” Reiki that people are used to. The answer is: It is the same Usui lineage, but beautifully refined.

I practice and teach Usui / Holy Fire® Reiki. It is deeply rooted in the original Japanese system founded by Mikao Usui, but it uses a more direct and empowered method of connection called a “Placement”. This removes the “middle man” of the teacher’s energy field, allowing the Holy Fire® to interact directly from Source. It is a globally recognised, authentic evolution of the Usui Lineage.
