Course Overview:
This course is a thorough dedicated 2-day immersion for Level 1 (1st Degree) Reiki. It provides the foundational skills to practice Reiki on yourself, maybe friends, family or others. It includes a combination of the Western traditions with Japanese Reiki Techniques and the high-vibrational power of Usui / Holy Fire® energy.
Who is this course for?
Beginners: Those completely new to energy work who desire a deep, comprehensive foundation.
Existing Level 1 (1st Degree) Students: Those wishing to ‘upgrade’ their previous skills with the refined vibration of Usui / Holy Fire® III and benefit from further tuition.
Through a blend of insightful lecture, open discussion, and hands-on practice, you will be compassionately guided to find your own unique flow. You will leave this weekend feeling empowered and confident in your ability to practice Reiki on yourself, your loved ones, and even your pets.
What is Level 1 (1st Degree) Reiki used for?
This is generally for personal self-healing and for sharing with your family and friends, pets and more. In Usui / Holy Fire® III Level I Training, the Placement itself is so powerful that it creates a high-frequency connection to Source. You will find the energy is incredibly effective on its own for physical healing and stress reduction, without the need for symbols at this time. Symbols are taught in Usui / Holy Fire® III Level 2 Reiki (2nd Degree), should you feel called to continue your journey.
What is Included in this course?
lineage & Integrity: I am a Reiki Master taught directly by William Lee Rand, the founder of Holy Fire® Reiki. This course provides a direct lineage traceable back to Mikao Usui. A separate, detailed Lineage Chart is provided to all students upon completion.
Official ICRT Manual: Physical 188-page ‘Reiki The Healing Touch’ First and Second Degree Manual is included, along with digital pre-study access. (Note: This official manual serves both Levels I & II, providing a wealth of information for your continued journey).
Holy Fire® I Placement: A sacred, meditative experience to ignite your direct connection. This Placement will heal you and activate your ability to use Reiki energy. It bypasses the teacher’s own energy, ensuring the student receives the purest possible "upgrade" to their energy system. This replaces the previous attunement process.
The Body’s Energy System and The Aura: A deep dive into how Reiki heals the mind and body. You will learn how the subconscious stores stress in the energy field, why people become ill and how Reiki heals by restoring the natural flow of Life Force energy.
Practical Mastery: In-depth training in the Reiki Ideals and Japanese techniques including Gassho, Reiji-ho, and Kenyoku.
Byosen Scanning: You will learn to use the sensitivity in your hands to locate and treat areas (usually in the aura) inneed of healing, and to treat them.
Hand Placement System: Mastery of the standard hand positions for in-person sessions with yourself and others.
Energy Hygiene & Ethics: Vital techniques to remain a protected, clear, and grounded channel, including learning the essentials in order to treat others.
The Experiential Journey: Because we dedicate over 17 hours to this first level, our time is woven with deep-healing meditations, Holy Fire® Experiences, and intuitive exercises. This allows for supervised practice, grounding rituals, and integration time to ensure you leave feeling fully confident.
Official Certification: A certificate signed by Nichola Byrne of Courtyard Natural Healing, confirming your direct lineage and 17 hours of intensive study.
Choose the format that fits your life
As I believe this sacred foundation deserves dedicated time, I offer two ways to complete your 17-hour Level I training in Botley, Southampton:
You may choose ‘The Two-Part Saturday Course’ if you prefer to keep your Sundays free for family or rest and this also provides a week in between to practice at home, before returning the following Saturday to complete the course.
Alternatively, I offer the ‘Weekend Immersion’ for those who prefer to dive deep and complete their training in one continuous weekend.
