WHAT IS thetahealing®?
At its heart, ThetaHealing® is a world-renowned healing method that was created by Vianna Stibal in 1995. It is a meditative technique and spiritual philosophy – not a religion – that allows you to clear deep-seated fears, phobias and old limiting belief patterns, held in your subconscious mind. It allows you to live life with positive thoughts, developing virtues in all you do, such as; compassion, patience, forgiveness, gratitude, benevolence, confidence etc.
The Power of the Theta State
Usually, when we are awake and talking, our brains are in a Beta state. In ThetaHealing® (through focused prayer and meditation) both the client and the practitioner tap into the Theta Brainwave.
This is the same deeply relaxed state you experience just before you fall asleep. In this state, the conscious mind steps aside, allowing us to access the subconscious, which is where your core beliefs, habits, memories and past experiences are stored. By working here, we can identify and change limiting patterns much faster than through standard conversation.
Tapping into the Source of All Creation
ThetaHealing® operates on the principle that the “Creator of All That Is” is a title for the creative force of the universe. It is the energy of "All That Is" because it is present in every molecule, atom, every cell, and every breath. This technique is designed to be used by people of all faiths to make positive change. It allows you to release the heavy burdens of the past and replace them with the light of pure, unconditional love from the energy of creation.
The Importance of Belief
To experience the full depth of ThetaHealing®, there is one essential requirement: a belief in a higher creative power. So, to be clear, because this is a spiritual philosophy and not a religion, this “higher power” is always defined by your own personal truth. You could know this energy as God, Source, Jesus, The Divine, Goddess, Holy Spirit, Divine Mother, The Universe, All That It, Allah, Yahweh and many more etc, but as long as you believe that there is an energy of creation that creates and sustains all things, you can fully embrace and benefit from this technique.

Common Limiting Beliefs
These are the inner dialogue or scripts that often run in the background of our lives. Here are some examples:
Self-Worth: “I am not enough”, “I have to be perfect to be loved”, “I don’t deserve success”, “I am ugly”etc.
Abundance: “Money is the root of all evil”, “I will never have enough” or “it is selfish to be worthy” etc.
Safety & Trust: “The world is an unsafe place”, “I can’t trust others” or “If I succeed, people will dislike me”.
Releasing Fears & Phobias

Habits & Lifestyle
Together, we look beyond simple willpower to find the hidden reasons your mind might be holding on to habits and create a positive change.
Examples of unhelpful habits could be: Smoking, emotional eating, people pleasing, procrastination (putting off tasks), difficult sleep patterns, never saying ‘no’ etc.
Examples of Compulsive Repetitive Habits could be: Nail-biting, excessive hygiene, skin picking, hair pulling, body stretching, hand washing, anything you feel you ‘have’ to do before being able to relax.
Your Session
A session is a straightforward process designed to get to the root of an issue quickly and effectively.
Consultation - We begin with a conversation about where you are and what you would like to change. Each session focuses on just one issue at a time. I will then guide us into a light, meditative state (the Theta state). This allows us to access the subconscious mind where habits and beliefs are stored, while you remain fully awake and in control.
Identifying the root - Using gentle, focused questions, we "peel back the layers" to find the Bottom Belief—the original reason your mind created a certain habit or fear. By resolving this root cause, the surface symptoms often clear away naturally.
Shifting & Verifying – We use Muscle Testing (a simple standing physical check) to confirm what your subconscious believes.
Your Permission: I will always state the old belief we’ve found and the new, positive one we intend to replace it with. Nothing is changed without your verbal permission.
The Result: We test the statement again immediately after the shift. This provides you with instant, physical assurance that the block has been cleared.
Feeling Downloads – Finally, we "download" new, positive feelings. This teaches your subconscious and your cells how to experience healthy states—such as true calm or confidence—in your daily life.
Remote or In-Person Sessions
Sessions can be held comfortably online via Google Meet/WhatsApp Video or in person in Botley, Hampshire, UK. Remote Setup: For online sessions, please ensure you are in a space where you can stand up for the muscle testing exercises while remaining in view of the camera.
Aftercare - What to expect
After a session, most people feel a sense of lightness and clarity. It is recommended to drink plenty of water and allow yourself some quiet time to integrate the shifts. Be kind to yourself and get plenty of rest.
ThetaHealing® is designed for instant results. While some complex issues may benefit from a short series of sessions, many clients experience the transformation they need in just one visit.
