Once an online, written, or verbal booking has been accepted by Courtyard Natural Healing by Nichola, you have entered into a mutual agreement to receive a healing session, course of sessions or other sessions described below. Each appointment is a sacred time reserved just for you, prepared with care and intention.

PAYMENT

I respectfully ask that clients make full payment by cash, bank transfer or card either before or at the time of their appointment. For Distance Healing, payment is required in advance of your appointment, by bank transfer. No deposit is required at this time.

CANCELLATIONS

You are welcome to amend or cancel your appointment more than 48 hours in advance with no fee.  Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before your appointment currently incur no fee. 

Cancellations made less than 24 hours beforeyour scheduled time, or failure to attend, will incur 100% of the treatment fee. This honours the time and energy held for you, and the space that cannot be offered to another client at short notice.  

DISCRETIONARY WAIVER OF CHARGES FOR MISSED / CHANGED APPOINTMENTS

In cases of emergency or serious illness, I may waive cancellation fees at my discretion. Please let me know if this applies to you — I understand that life can be unpredictable. 

LATE ARRIVAL

If you arrive late, I will do my best to offer a meaningful session within the remaining time. However, your appointment may still need to end at the originally scheduled time, and the full fee will apply. 

If you are up to 15 minutes late, your session can still go ahead.  If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, this may affect the next client’s appointment. In such cases, your session may need to be shortened or cancelled.

If cancellation is necessary due to late arrival, 50% of the treatment fee will still be due. This is because I work with only a small number of clients each day to ensure every session is energetically rich, personalised, and deeply restorative, involving thoughtful preparation – from selecting and cleansing crystals to setting the energetic tone of the space.  When a session cannot go ahead, I lose the opportunity to offer that time to someone else in need of healing — and half the income I rely on to sustain my practice. I appreciate your understanding and respect for the sacred time we hold together.

Exceptions will always be made for emergencies or serious illness — please do not hesitate to let me know if this is the case. 

EARLY ARRIVAL

If you arrive early, please wait in your car until your scheduled time or message me to see if it’s possible to come in sooner. I may not be able to reply immediately if I’m in session, but if the timing is right, you’re warmly welcome to wait indoors.

PLEASE NOTE: Early/Late Arrival clauses apply to in-person appointments only. For Distance Healing sessions, please ensure you are available and ready to begin at your scheduled time.

PRICES

Reiki, crystal or sound meditation healing sessions and the prices listed, are subject to change without prior notification but I will always endeavour to advise my clients well in advance of any future price increases and will honour any bookings made prior to any increase.  

SCOPE OF PRACTICE AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Courtyard Natural Healing offers Reiki as a standalone healing modality. Crystal‑infused Reiki and sound‑infused Reiki are offered as part of a combined Reiki session to enhance relaxation and energetic balance.

Sound bath meditation may also be offered as a standalone relaxation experience. ThetaHealing® is offered as a standalone modality focused on meditative belief‑work and emotional wellbeing.

All services provided are complementary wellbeing practices and are not medical treatments. Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or provide medical or psychological intervention.

By booking and attending a session, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for your own physical and emotional wellbeing during and after the session.

Some practices—particularly sound‑based sessions—may require additional care for individuals with certain conditions. These include (but are not limited to): epilepsy, severe tinnitus, vertigo or Ménière’s disease, recent head injury, pacemakers or internal defibrillators, recent surgery, bone fractures, advanced stages of cancer, certain metal implants, or early pregnancy (first trimester).

Clients are asked to share any relevant health information so we can discuss whether a session is suitable for your needs and, where appropriate, adapt it safely and effectively.

CHILDREN

Children under the age of 16 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to give their signed consent. They will also be asked to remain present for the duration of the appointment time.  Appointment times will be 30 minutes duration for children and a 20% discount will be applied. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION

During a client's consultation, we will need to collect personal information which is important for our client-therapist relationship. This will be used to tailor treatments. This information is strictly confidential. Accuracy will be maintained and updated as and when advised by the client. Please see Privacy Policy for further information.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION

We may at times address specific personal issues or challenges in the client's life or workplace.  All information provided will be kept strictly confidential at all times, with the exception of any information which may result in a danger to the client or someone else.  All discussions during the session are confidential, however as a complimentary health therapist, I am not at liberty to withhold information from the police.  I am required by law to inform the authorities if you or a member of the public are at risk.  Please see Privacy Policy.

REFUSING TO TREAT

I have the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment at any point. Circumstances where this may apply include, but are not limited to: -  The Client being under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.  The Client behaving in an inappropriate or offensive manner.  The Client is unwell.   

GUARANTEES

Whilst many clients experience positive results from their healing sessions, it is important to understand that there are no guarantees of success or cure in relation to a condition you may have.

There are many factors which will influence the success of your healing session. Individual outcomes may vary depending on factors such as the client’s overall health, lifestyle and the specific condition being addressed. Some clients may experience temporary discomfort or side effects as their body adjusts to the healing process, but these typically improve over time.

If there are personal or work-related issues which continue to cause you stress and anxiety, Reiki or any other complementary therapy may help you to obtain a deep sense of relaxation, with improved wellbeing and less tension in the body but for long term benefits, it may be necessary to address these underlying issues in addition to your healing sessions.

PERSONALISED MANIFESTATION MEDITATION — TERMS OF SERVICE

Once an online, written or verbal booking has been accepted by Nichola of Courtyard Natural Healing, the client will have entered into an agreement for a Personalised Manifestation Meditation based on the following terms of service:

PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of booking, paid securely online.

INTAKE FORM
Your booking secures your creation slot. Your meditation will only begin once your completed Intake Form has been received. Please complete this as promptly as possible to avoid delays to your delivery timescale.

DELIVERY TIMESCALE
I aim to deliver your completed meditation within 7 days of receiving your completed Intake Form. This is usually the norm, though during busier periods it may occasionally take a little longer. Your meditation will be delivered to you via email.

CANCELLATIONS
As your meditation is personally created for you based on your Intake Form responses, cancellations cannot be accepted, and refunds cannot be offered, once your Intake Form has been submitted and creation has begun. If you wish to cancel before submitting your Intake Form, please contact me as soon as possible and a full refund will be provided.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice, however any booking already made will always be honoured at the price paid.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
The information you share in your Intake Form is collected solely to create your personalised meditation. This information is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Some clients may choose to share personal thoughts, feelings or life circumstances within their Intake Form. All information shared is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality, with the exception of any information which may indicate a risk of harm to the client or another person, where I may be required by law to inform the relevant authorities.

GUARANTEES
Your Personalised Manifestation Meditation is created with love, care and the healing energy of Reiki, working always in alignment with your highest good. While many clients find meditation a powerful and uplifting daily practice, there can be no guarantee of specific outcomes or results.
